Para além das praias de areal branco o Algarve tem também as mais bonitas paisagens campestres. Agora que vivo em Londres onde os prédios roçam as nuvens, anseio pelo cheiro das árvores e a brisa suave do verão que faz as espigas dançar. Durante esta sessão fotográfica dei por mim inúmeras vezes a contemplar as dezenas de borboletas que dançavam em meu redor como que se fossem flores que o vento convidou a dançar. Realmente foi preciso sair do paraíso onde nasci para começar a apreciar os campos verdejantes e as sinfonias de trinados. Aprendi com a Primavera que a calmaria de um Algarve em fora de época é agora o meu retiro. Parece que sempre que aqui volto encontro uma parte de mim que aqui deixei...
The Algarve is not only special because of its white sand beaches, but also because of its beautiful countryside. Now that I live in London where buildings skim the clouds, I long for the scent of the trees and the gentle warm breeze that makes the fields of corn dance. During the photoshoot I caught myself, countless times, contemplating the dozens of butterflies that fluttered around me, as if they were flowers that the wind invited to dance. Maybe I needed to leave this paradise where I was born in order to start appreciating it. This Spring I've learned that the out-of-season Algarve is now my favourite retreat. It seems that when I come back here I find a part of myself that never left...
No Algarve ou em destinos de praia opto por um estilo mais Boho. Estas roupas não combinariam com a minha vida em Londres, mas aqui fazem todo o sentido. No Algarve sinto-me bem quando ando descalça e vestida em tons claros e tecidos leves. E tu, qual é o estilo pelo qual optas quando vais de férias? / In the Algarve or in other beach destinations my style tends to be more Boho.
