Há algo incrivelmente sensual na simplicidade de umas calças de ganga. Ponto final parágrafo! Acho que essa sensualidade deve-se ao facto de ser uma peça com leveza, casualidade mas ainda assim versátil como nenhuma outra. É daquele tipo de peças que, apesar das ligeiras mutações que vai sofrendo ao longo do tempo, nunca sai de moda. Uns jeans tanto nos emprestam um estilo mais relaxado quando conjugados com uns ténis e um t-shirt, como também nos permitem compor um look mais smart casual quando combinados com o blazer, por exemplo.

Por serem tão intemporais, este é o tipo de peças nas quais vale mesmo a pena investir um bocadinho mais. Aliás, eu hoje em dia ainda uso umas Levi's que a minha mãe vestia quando tinha a minha idade. Estes jeans que me vêem a usar nestas fotografias são de uma marca Australia cujo nome é Maurie & Eve. Sempre gostei muito dos vestidos da mesma mas confesso que esta não é a marca na qual esperava encontrar jeans de tão boa qualidade. Foi uma bela surpresa recebê-los no correio e ver que, modéstia à parte, vestem maravilhosamente bem. A ganga é grossa, de óptima qualidade, e o facto de serem compostas por diferentes tons de denim dão-lhe um ar mais divertido.

Por norma as marcas nas quais confio para comprar bons jeans são as seguintes:

Não sei se sentem o mesmo, mas encontrar os jeans perfeitos é realmente uma missão complicada, ou não assentam muito bem, ou ficam largos ao fim de os termos vestidos há umas horas, ou até perdem a forma por completo...garanto-vos que com qualquer uma das marcas em cima indicadas ficarão bem servidos. Por exemplo, tenho uns jeans pretos da Acne Studios que uso pelo menos umas três vezes por semanas e que ainda me assentam exactamente da mesma forma como no dia em que os comprei. São realmente mais caros, mas a verdade é que, se calhar, antigamente acabava por gastar muito mais ao comprar mais pares ao longo do ano por me dar como insatisfeita com a qualidade dos mesmos.

Num mundo em que temos que fazer tantas decisões diariamente, compra uns jeans que nunca te falhem!

There is something incredibly sensual in the simplicity of a pair of jeans, period! I think it has to do with the easiness of their look, their effortlessness but also the fact that it's one of the most versatile items you can own. It's that item of clothing that, despite the slight mutations it has gone through, never went out of style. Jeans, both allows us a more relaxed look when coupled with a trainers and a t-shirt, but also a smart casual one when combined with a blazer, for instance.

Considering how timeless jeans can be, I would say it's worth investing in good quality ones. In fact, I still wear my mum's Levi's from when she was my age. The ones you see me wearing on these pictures are from an Australia brand named Maurie & Eve. I have always liked their dresses, but I must confess it wouldn't be my first choice of brand when considering buying new jeans. It was a wonderful surprise when I received them in the mail and saw that they dress amazingly well. The denim is of great quality, strong but comfortable, and the fact that they are made up of different shades gives it a fun touch.

Finding perfect jeans is always a hell of a mission because they either don't fit very well, or they get loose after wearing them for a couple of hours, or even become shapeless ... I assure you that in any one of the above brands you will find great quality jeans. For example, I have some black Acne Studios ones that I wear at least three times a week and that still fit me in exactly the same way they did on the day I bought them. It's a fact that they are more expensive, but the truth is that, in the past, I ended up spending a lot more because I ended up buying more pairs throughout the year due to being dissatisfied with their quality.
