The Udaya Resorts & Spa
O hotel que nos recebeu em Ubud é um charme. A localização é perfeita, fica a uns 2km do centro da vila. No centro de Ubud há um vai e vem constante de scooters, por isso foi bom ter ficado no The Udaya a ser embalada pelo som da selva em vez do das buzinas das motorizadas.
O melhor do The Udaya ou até mesmo de Bali são as pessoas. Os balineses são o povo mais generoso e acolhedor que conheço. O staff do hotel não foge à regra, a sua simpatia e qualidade do seu serviço foi o que realmente tornou esta estadia tão especial.
O The Udaya oferece instalações e serviço de luxo a um preço bem mais razoável do que a maioria dos hotéis de 5 estrelas localizados em Ubud. Para além disso abriu somente há 3 meses o que significa que ainda está tudo novo e em óptimas condições.
Os quartos para além de espaçosos e muito bem decorados têm uma piscina infinita privada com vista para a selva, cenário perfeito para um fim de tarde romântico ;)
Também o Spa merece ser destacado pela sua excelência. Optei por experimentar uma massagem típica balinesa e posso dizer que foi uma das melhores que recebi até hoje.
Infelizmente o que é bom acaba depressa mas comigo ficarão as memórias: o sol a pôr-se para lá da selva, o cantar dos pássaros pela manhã e, a cima de tudo, as pessoas que me acolheram tão bem durante a minha estadia!
This hotel is so charming! The location is perfect, it's about 2km away from the centre of the village. In the centre of Ubud there is a constant coming and going of scooters, thus, as you can imagine, it was much nicer to stay at The Udaya being lulled by the sound of the jungle instead of the motorcycle horns.
The best of The Udaya, or even Bali, are the people. The Balinese are the most generous and welcoming people I know. The staff of the hotel did not shirk the rule, their kindness and the quality of their service was what really made this stay so special.
The Udaya offers luxury facilities and services at a much more reasonable price than most 5-star hotels located in Ubud. Plus it only opened 3 months ago which means that everything is still new and in good condition.
The rooms not only are spacious and beautifully decorated but also have a private infinity pool overlooking the jungle, perfect setting for a romantic late afternoon;)
The Spa also deserves to be highlighted by its excellence. I chose to try a typical Balinese massage and I can confidently say that it was one of the best I've ever had.
Unfortunately, what's good doesn't last forever, although I will take with me beautiful memories: the sun going down beyond the jungle, the singing of the birds in the morning and, above all, the people who welcomed me so well during my stay!
