É uma robe? É um casaco? É um vestido? É um capa? Isso, uma capa! Não admira que hoje me sinta com super-poderes, estou que nem um Samurai!
Eu gosto deste tipo de roupa mais arquitectónico em que se torna possível brincar com proporções. Gosto de linhas rectas, de volume e de estruturas inconvencionais. Ainda que no minimalismo se celebre a simplicidade há algo de muito poderoso nele. Há cada vez mais designers a explorar a ligação entre a moda e a arquitectura. É fascinante que se possa criar estrutura através de materiais sem forma como o tecido. Marcas como a Acne Studios, Rick Owens, Ellery, Balenciaga fazem-no como ninguém!
Aqui entre nós deixem-me que vos diga que me sinto muito mais sexy num kimono de proporções exageradas do que num vestido justinho. Assim sendo, a moral da história é: veste o que te dá super-poderes!

It is fascinating that one can create structure through a formless material like fabric. Brands like Acne studios, Rick Owens, Ellery, Balenciaga are some of the best at doing it!
Let me tell you a little secret, I feel much sexier in a kimono of exaggerated proportions than in a tight dress. Moral of the story: wear whatever gives you super powers!
