Knitwear goals
Cada vez mais valorizo a qualidade e não a quantidade. Acho que, hoje em dia, consumo de uma forma bem mais consciente. Como já vos disse eu não gosto muito de padrões, prefiro peças mais básicas e, normalmente, não uso nada muito colorido. (Credo, que aborrecida!) Prefiro a simplicidade e o minimalismo. Procuro peças intemporais e, ultimamente, ando um bocadinho obcecado com knitwear. Deve ser por me ter mudado para um país mais frio. Gosto do conforto da lã e do aconchego da sua textura. Uma boa knitwear faz o outfit, portanto, é importante saber escolhê-la, e isso é uma arte. Ninguém gosta daquela knitwear que se usa umas vezes e começa logo a ficar cheia de borbotos. Assim sendo, os meus conselhos são:
Evitar a todo o custo knitwear que contenha acrílico;
Lavar sempre à mão;
Secar na horizontal;
Não espremer para não perder a forma;
Utilizar uma gillette para eliminar os borbotos.
Neste jumper que estou a usar gosto particularmente dos fios que caem das costuras como se a camisola não tivesse sido terminada. Como já vos disse, para mim a roupa não é se não uma extensão da nossa personalidade. Neste dia conjuguei a camisola de lã com umas flairs e, sentido me um David Bowie, fui para a rua dançar!
More and more I value quality instead of quantity. I think, nowadays, I consume in a much more conscious way. I've told you already that I tend not to wear patterns, I prefer basic items and usually I don't wear anything too colourful. (Christ, that sounds boring woman!) I prefer simplicity and minimalism. I look for timeless items and, I'm not sure why, but lately I've become obsessed with knitwear. It must be because I moved to a colder country. I like the comfort of wool and the warmth of its texture. A good knitwear makes the outfit, so it's important that you know how to choose it, and that, ladies & gentleman, is an art. Nobody likes that knitwear that, after being worn a few times, starts to get bobbles. Thus, my advice is:
Avoid buying acrylic knitwear at all costs.
Only hand wash them;
Let them dry in a flat position;
Don't rinse them, otherwise it will lose its shape.
To get rid of bobbles use a razor and 'shave' your jumper.
In this jumper I'm wearing I particularly like the threads that fall as if the jumper has not been finished. As I have already told you, for me, clothing is nothing but an extension of our personality. On this day I've matched the wool jumper with some flairs and, feeling like David Bowie, I went to the street and danced!
